After entertaining fans on the cricket ground, former Team India’s captain and legendary cricketer Sourav Ganguly is all set to try his luck in acting. The ‘Prince of Kolkata’ has shown interest in playing the role of a cop for a web series sequel and has even auditioned.
According to the reports, the celebrated sports icon will be seen making his OTT debut with an advertisement for the upcoming Netflix web series Khakee 2. In the promotional video, Ganguly will now be seen bringing their charisma to the silver screen by essaying the role of a police officer.
Buzz has it that he may play a police officer in the series. Social media is filled with visuals of Ganguly in a police uniform, which has excited fans of both cricket and cinema. Everyone is eagerly awaiting this unique collaboration and is excited to see Ganguly’s actor avatar.

At the trailer launch, filmmaker Neeraj Pandey hinted at a possible cameo by Ganguly. On being asked about Ganguly's association, Pandey responded with a grin, "As far as Sourav is concerned... keep looking."
