Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath turns a year older today and on his birthday, Samrat Cinematics dropped an announcement that is garnering attention. The makers announced the release date of their movie, Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi.
Slated to hit cinemas on August 1, 2025 worldwide, the movie draws major inspiration from a book detailing the journey of a spiritual and political leader. The announcement, made on the occasion of Yogi Adityanath’s 53rd birthday, dropped a powerful new poster, offering the first look at actor Anantvijay Joshi in the lead role.
The poster showcases the protagonist in saffron robes, symbolising spiritual strength, resolve, and leadership. His intense gaze and commanding gesture reflect the essence of a man driven by duty and conviction.
The movie is inspired by Shantanu Gupta’s book The Monk Who Became Chief Minister and Ajey brings to screen the compelling journey of a man who renounced worldly pleasures only to rise as one of India’s most influential political figures.
The film stars Anantvijay Joshi in the lead role, alongside an ensemble cast including Paresh Rawal, Dineshlal Yadav Nirahua, Ajay Mengi, Rajesh Khattar, Pawan Malhotra, and Garima Vikrant Singh.
Directed by Ravindra Gautam and produced by Ritu Mengi, the film features a compelling screenplay by Dilip Bachchan Jha and Priyank Dubey, with music composed by Meet Bros.
