Actor Pooja Jhaveri says that she would love to collaborate with Vijay Deverakonda again as she found him to be a 'focussed' individual when the two shot for Dwaraka a few years ago.
"I would love to work with him again. I found him to be a very focussed person when we shot for Dwaraka. He was shooting for another film around the same time. All in all, working with him was a normal (good) experience," she told DH in an exclusive interview.
Dwaraka was a comedy-drama that revolved around the life of a thief while highlighting his love life. The film was originally supposed to hit the screens in 2016 but that did not happen due to Demonetisation. It was released in March 2017, receiving negative reviews from fans and critics alike.

The lacklustre response to the film took a toll on all concerned but Vijay soon bounced back with Arjun Reddy, which established him as a household name. Pooja, however, took time to plan her next move. She returned to the industry with 47 Days, which released directly on Zee5 last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The film, starring Satyadev in the lead, created a buzz in Tollywood despite receiving mixed reviews.
Pooja tried scoring a hit with Bangaru Bullodu, one of the first movies to hit the screens after the lockdown, but things didn't go as planned as it proved to be a commercial failure. The actor, nonetheless, had a good time shooting for the movie as it helped her push her limits as a performer.
"The comedy sequences were challenging as the timing was the key (to getting things right). I tried to learn Telugu for the role but the language barrier (still) made things tricky," she added.
With Bangaru Bullodu in the past, Pooja is set to turn her attention to her upcoming projects. The Bham Bolenath star will soon be seen in the Tamil psychological-thriller Echo, co-starring Srikanth. She also has a Telugu web series in her kitty. It remains to be seen whether these projects will help her become an 'A-lister'.
