Heavily criticised for its graphic violence and weak screenplay, the actioner failed to resonate with audiences, grossing a mere Rs 66 crore worldwide against its high production costs.

Tron: Ares was one of the most costly "box office bombs" in 2025, grossing only $142 million on a $220 million investment. Critics tagged the film for choosing spectacle over a cohesive story. By distancing itself from its cult-classic roots, the film failed to connect with both legacy fans and new viewers alike.

After a long wait for the perfect release, Kangana Ranaut's Emergency failed to perform as expected at the box office. The movie collected less than half of its production cost. Made on a massive budget of Rs 60 crore, the film finished with an Rs 22 crore lifetime haul, officially labelling the political drama a big box office failure.
