Over the weekend, the cast and crew of the Su from So travelled to Mumbai and hosted an exclusive screening for an acclaimed actor and producer. A photo from the private event features Ajay Devgn alongside filmmakers JP Thuminad and Raj B Shetty, smiling for the camera.

The movie appears to have left a strong impression on Devgn. The meeting, described by sources as more than just a screening, has fueled speculation that a Hindi remake may be in the pipeline.

“It’s premature to confirm anything, but don’t be surprised if news about a Hindi remake emerges soon,” a source close to the project commented. The film’s compelling narrative has already won over the Kannada audiences, and a Hindi adaptation could broaden its impact across the northern markets. A photo from the private event has been shared, featuring Ajay Devgn alongside filmmakers JP Thuminad and Raj B Shetty, smiling for the camera.

Released amid the storm created by Saiyaara, the Hollywood giant F1, and Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu, Su from So held its ground and stood out with its compelling content.

Now in its third successful week, Su from So continues to earn widespread acclaim from audiences. So far, the film has minted close to Rs 90 crore worldwide, surpassing the box-office records of Sudeep’s Max and Darshan’s Kateera.

With strong momentum and growing buzz, the film is expected to cross the magical figure of Rs 100 crore during the Independence Day weekend.
Su from So has struck a chord with Karnataka audiences and also finds popularity in other states, along with decent craze at the international market. Its heartfelt emotions and humour have connected well with the audience.

While the movie faces a potential competition from Rajinikanth's Coolie and Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR's War 2, Su from So is expected to hold its ground and perform well at the box office due to its strong demand overseas interest. If it manages its momentum, the movie is likely to surpass Charlie 777 and emerge as one of the top-grossing Kannada films in recent times.
