Bengaluru: Kannada author Banu Mushtaq, translator Deepa Basthi, and author Shinie Anthony will discuss Banu's book 'Heart Lamp: Selected Stories', which has been shortlisted for the 2025 International Booker Prize.

It will be held at the Bangalore International Centre, Domlur, at 6 pm on Sunday.

The discussion will cover Banu's storytelling, portrayal of the challenges faced by Muslim women, gender and caste dynamics, and the nuances of translation.
