Singer and performer Neha Kakkar made headlines for wrong reasons for her awry Australia tour in March 2025. The audience in Melbourne claimed that Neha turned up late for the show causing frustration. Allegedly, Neha kept the audience waiting for around two hours and 30 minutes before taking the stage.
Several visuals from the Melbourne concert flooded the social media, showing Neha Kakkar in tears. However, to her defence Neha did reply and blamed the organisers for this fiasco. Neha said that the organisers ran away with the money, leaving her team without food or hotel arrangements, and she ultimately sang at the event without being paid.
The controversy has now deepened as organisers from Australia Pace D and Bikram Singh Randhawa of Bikram & PDR Events spoke out about the incident in a candid podcast with Sidharth Kannan.
In the podcast, the organisers said “Beat Production invited Neha Kakkar in Melbourne. Since both parties have now openly spoken, we feel we should too—we were there and saw it all first hand. I spoke to Preet Pabla bhai, the organiser of the event, and asked him for clarity. He’s a genuine guy, and from him I found out that Neha was late and caused multiple delays. According to him, she repeatedly said things like, ‘I won’t go now’ and ‘I won’t do this,” said rapper and event host Pace D.
“The fans were all set and cheering, expecting her at 7:30 pm, but she only arrived at 10 pm. That delay really angered the audience. In Australia, time is highly valued. Families came out specifically for this event, and some spent AUD 300 on tickets — roughly Rs 15,000 to Rs16,000,' said Bikram Singh Randhawa further supporting the claim.
Pace D also claimed that the organisers were allegedly told, ‘Only 700 people? I won’t perform until the venue fills up with more audience.’
Refuting Neha’s claims of organisers fleeing without paying dues, Pace D said, “This was such a big show, the entire tech rider was in place. There were opening acts, and everyone performed. Her mic and complete setup were fully ready. So, the things she’s been saying don’t seem to be true, because we saw with our own eyes that everything was set up properly."
