The programme was organised by the Bombay Hospital for medical, nursing and paramedical staff in collaboration with the Association of Medical Consultants.

Soon after the terror attack, the hospital had launched an anti-terror forum, the National Counter Terrorism Trauma Care Committee. It aims at helping the Government in policy formulation, creating a doctors’ protocol for handling such attacks, provide training to paramedical staff and pre and post trauma counselling to patients.

It also helps create public education and awareness to ensure that people are the eyes and ears in such events and act during an emergency before the medical team can arrive.
