Police said the incident took place on Friday night when Gurdeep Singh from village Uddowali along with his wife Samrjit Kaur, son Navjeet Singh, daughter-in-law Simranjit Kaur and grandson Tavjeet Singh were on way to meet their relative who was admitted in a hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the car of the same village was also killed. Police said the driver lost control over the car while negotiating a sharp bend.
