His post talks about the pain that have been caused by the negative and unverified stories published by the YouTubers and certain media houses. Reportedly, some people ran the news of his arrest and other false narratives against him after the arrest of YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra on the charges of spying for Pakistan.

Haryana police arrested Jyoti on May 16 for passing on sensitive information to PIOs. She has been booked under the relevant sections of the Official Secrets Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Navankur, who has over 6.5 lakh followers on Instagram, said that he has visited Pakistan only once. He called out the media and others for promoting a 'false narrative' about him being a frequent visitor. “Bhai main Pakistan sirf ek baar gaya hun,” he said. The Yatri Doctor said that the biggest reason he visited Pakistan is that he is on a quest to visit all 197 countries.

Navankur came into the radar after his picture with Jyoti grabbed attention. The duo graced an event together organised at the Pakistan High Commission and their pictures are doing the rounds on social media. Reports suggest, Navankur and Jyoti are good friends, bonded by their shared background and profession as travel YouTubers.
