The Air India (AI) Cabin Crew Association has demanded that Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad tender an “unconditional apology” before he is allowed to fly.

In a letter to AI Chairman and Managing Director Ashwani Lohani, the association warned that a decision in favour of Gaikwad without an unconditional apology would affect the employees’ morale.

“Unless he tenders an unconditional apology to AI employees, and undertakes in writing to abide by the Chicago and Tokyo Conventions and Rules of the Air and follow all cabin safety and public behaviour norms, we must not let him on board,” the letter stated.
