An all-party meeting convened by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti here on Thursday demanded a complete ban on pellet guns.

The five-hour marathon meeting, called by Mehbooba, to review the situation in the violence-hit Valley where unrest following Hizbul commander Burhan Wani’s death has left 47 people dead and nearly 4,000 injured, was attended by leaders of all the major political parties, except opposition National Conference.

After the meeting, the chief minister left the venue without talking to mediapersons, who were waiting outside.
