Hyderabad: Former Andhra Pradesh chief minister and YSRCP chief, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has spun a false story about the adulterated ghee being used for Tirumala prasadam and levelled false allegations against the then TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy though not an iota of evidence was available and there is a robust mechanism in place to check the quality of ghee. Talking to reporters in Tadepalli on Thursday he said rejected tankers are being taken in again and during chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s previous term ghee was purchased at Rs 276 to Rs 314 if price is the determining factor for the quality of ghee.

Talking about the Parakamani case he said is also being blown out by Naidu and his publicity machinery but the fact remains that the Parakamani was modernized with high tech gadgets by YSRCP government and it was due to the high resolution cameras and tight vigil that the theft issue came to light. The person had given back his assets as atonement.

He added a recent theft at Simhachalam temple was hushed up with the accused being given a station bail, which shows the level of governance. When there has been a complaint of harassment against the PA of a minister by a woman employee, no action was taken.

He also said that the government has gone back in fully implementing all the Super Six promises it has given from stipend to unemployed youth, to Stree Nidhi, Pensions, free bus travel, free cylinders and Talliki Vandanam. Employees are cheated by going back on the promises. Of the five DAs due, the government has agreed to pay just one DA, and the government has failed on the promises of PRC, IR and medical reimbursement among others.

“The double standards of Chandrababu Naidu on Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) stand exposed as he failed to address the issue in the proper manner. What VSP lacks is a captive mine and instead of focusing on the issue, the government has been speaking in terms of working standards of staff. We have passed a resolution in the Assembly against the privatization during out term,” he said

Jagan also tore into the coalition government for its alleged gross failure in handling agriculture, education, medical issues besides misusing police to foist false cases against political adversaries and manufacturing evidence bringing vindictive politics into full play.

He said state is running under the Red Book constitution and added that the Government has been resorting to nepotism leaving all sections of people in the lurch.

“Not just putting public health in private hands but the government has given a bonanza by issuing order to pay salaries of the staff. Aarogyasri has been watered down and the dues are not being paid. The negligence of coalition government on education sector is glaring with 29 students dying due to consuming contaminated water and food while many students were hospitalized due to unhygienic conditions. Students are now carrying lunch boxes as the quality midday meal scheme has been badly maintained. The reforms brought in by YSRCP government were negated and the fees reimbursement dues are mounting resulting in agony among students. Farmers are in distress as they are not getting MSP for any crop and are being cheated at every step,” said Jagan.
