Hyderabad: At the Amaravati 2.0 launch, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his son, State IT Minister Nara Lokesh, led a powerful demonstration of patriotism following the recent Pahalgam terror attack. While Lokesh described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a "missile that will destroy Pakistan," Naidu declared "Hum aapke saath hain" (We are with you).
Lokesh stated that Pakistan had crossed a line by killing innocent people. "Not just one Pakistan, even a hundred Pakistanis cannot uproot even a blade of grass from Indian soil," he asserted.
"We have a missile that can answer a hundred Pakistans. That missile's name is Narendra Modi. One shouldn't play games before a lion. After our lion NaMo strikes, Pakistan will certainly go missing from the world map," Lokesh said.
He added that soldiers in the Pakistani army were taking leave and fleeing, with some were resigning. "Pakistan will definitely be stunned by NaMo's blow. The entire country stands behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give a fitting reply to Pakistan."
Lokesh also paid respects to victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack, assuring that the country would support their families.
Speaking in Hindi, Naidu pledged complete support to Modi, declaring, "Modiji hum aapke saath hain, Andhra Pradesh ke 5 crore log aapke saath hain, poora desh aapke saath hain" (Modi ji, we are with you, 5 crore people of Andhra Pradesh are with you, the entire nation is with you). His statement drew enthusiastic applause.
Naidu then led the gathering in chanting "Vande Mataram," creating a powerful moment of unity. He emphasized that India has emerged stronger under Modi's leadership and will develop into a formidable economic force.
"I have personally witnessed the anguish in Modi after the Pahalgam attack," Naidu revealed, pledging solid support for all of Modi's decisions in the national interest.
Amid displays of national flags and patriotic slogans, Naidu extended wholehearted support to Modi, who joined him in chanting "Bharat Mata Ki Jai." Naidu recalled that while their previous meetings had been pleasant, their recent meeting in New Delhi was somber due to the Pahalgam attack. "For the first time, I saw him in such pain. I witnessed his anguish that the people of our country lost their lives in the terrorist attack," Naidu said.
He highlighted Modi's economic achievements, noting that India had risen from the world's 10th largest economy to 5th during Modi's 11-year tenure.
'No one's better than Naidu,' Modi acknowledges learning from him
While the Naidu family praised Modi, the Prime Minister reciprocated with admiration for Naidu's contributions to India's technological advancement. Speaking at the Amaravati relaunch, Modi revealed how Naidu's early work in Hyderabad's IT sector had inspired his own initiatives as Gujarat's Chief Minister.
"CM Chandrababu Naidu was praising me, saying that technology started with me. But let me tell you a secret: when I was newly appointed as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, I closely observed how CM Chandrababu Naidu was developing the IT sector in Hyderabad," Modi disclosed.
He explained that he had studied Naidu's approach through officials, gaining insights he later implemented nationwide. Modi also praised Naidu's exceptional project management skills: "In this nation, when it comes to executing large-scale projects, completing them quickly, and ensuring top-notch quality — there is no one better than Chandrababu Naidu," he affirmed, highlighting Naidu's reputation for efficiency and excellence.
