“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India will become a global economic power by 2047. We will soon become the 3rd largest economy. Ours is not a dead economy; it is a good economy. We have proven our military might not just our economic strength, with 'Operation Sindoor'. On this Independence Day, let every Indian hoist the tricolor flag and salute the capability of our armed forces. Let us hail our three armed forces, who responded with missiles when enemy nations fired bullets. Once again, I wish you all a happy Independence Day,” said Naidu on Friday.

He added that while Prime Minister Modi has formulated the 'Viksit Bharat 2047' vision his government has prepared the 'Swarnandhra-2047 Vision' document. “We have brought this vision to the state, district, and constituency levels. Our Telugu people are achieving success in many countries around the world, making their mark everywhere. By 2047, India will stand as a global economic power. It is my passion, desire, and ambition that our Telugu race should be at the forefront of the world. I promise that I will work tirelessly to make the Telugu race number one in all fields and to place them in a preeminent position,” Naidu added.

Naidu also said that temples are symbols of our culture and spiritual centers and the government was releasing funds of Rs 10,000 each for daily rituals (Dhupa Deepa Naivedyam) in over 6,000 temples.

“We have increased the salaries of priests to Rs 15,000. We are ensuring that non-Hindus are not employed in temples. We have made it easier to book darshan services and accommodation in temples via WhatsApp. We have improved the quality of prasadams and services in all temples, including Tirumala. We will implement the 'Nitya Annadanam' (daily free meals) scheme in 23 major temples. We are officially observing the 'Atmarpana Dinam' (day of self-sacrifice) of Sri Vasavi Kanyaka Parameswari Ammavaru, the revered deity of the Arya Vysya community,” the chief minister said.
