The Chief Minister made it clear that the progress of Kuppam is now unstoppable. Regretting that Kuppam was totally neglected by the previous government and the TDP activist here were subjected to various kinds of harassment, he gave a powerpoint presentation on how Kuppam will be taken forward in the next five years.

"Though I am the Chief Minister to the whole State but only MLA for Kuppam," he said and thanked the people of the Assembly segment for electing him as MLA for eight successive terms.

Stating that he has visited Kuppam for the second time after the 2024 election results, the Chief Minister said that he has already formed Kuppam Development Authority and appointed a young IAS officer as its Special Officer for taking the development forward. He promised to take steps to see to it that every house in Kuppam has an entrepreneur and will also initiate measures to ensure that every family is will be developed financially.

He also assured the people of Kuppam of providing at least 15,000 jobs by establishing industries on a largescale, 100 per cent solarisation of power, construct all the roads to connect every corner, encourage population growth, setting up skill training centres, completing the cargo airport, making farming more profitable and supply of cooking gas cylinders through Deepam scheme besides several other steps.

Expressing concern that the state got totally damaged in the past five years as all the systems were completely demolished, Naidu acknowledged that the voters of Kuppam have responded in the most positive way to the call given by him along with the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and the Deputy Chief Minister, Pawan Kalyan.

Recalling that he was the Chief Minister of the State for quite a long time and was even the leader of Opposition too for 10 years, he said he has achieved tremendous results through public policy. "It is only the TDP that has proved beyond doubt that anything can be achieved if a political party is headed by an efficient leader," he remarked.

Naidu said that he has developed Hyderabad through Cyberabad city and built HiTech City too and stated that he made it quite clear at that time itself that Hyderabad will develop as the world-class IT city. Making it clear that Swatchandhra slogan is being taken into people very effectively, the Chief Minister made a fervent appeal to the people to seriously think about the growth of population.

The Chief Minister also answered the questions of the students of Dravidian University and explained the steps being initiated for the development of Kuppam.

Inaugurates solar power project

He also inaugurated solar power project under the PM Surya Ghar scheme at Nadimuru village in Kuppam segment. The Chief Minister said that his objective is supplying solar power panels to every household in Kuppam Assembly segment with 100 per cent subsidy. "We will install solar panels on every household under the PM Surya Ghar scheme taking Kuppam as a pilot project," he said.

Stating that it is really great generating power at one's own house, the Chief Minister recalled his childhood days where there was no proper power supply due to which he used to study under lanterns. Power used to be generated somewhere and the people used to utilise it, but the situation now is that power can be generated at everyone's house, he remarked.

"We have decided to install solar power panels atop the houses of 20 lakh people in the state to generate power and I always give high priority to solar along with wind power as the power-generation charges are very less. I congratulate the IIT, Kanpur on coming forward with the latest technology for 100 per cent solarisation," he observed.

Announcing that subsidy will be available to those who generate two kilowatts of power through solar panels under the Surya Ghar scheme, Naidu said that a Rs 60,000 subsidy will be provided for this. He, however, said that the total generation cost of two kilowatts is Rs 1.10 lakh through which a total of 200 units of power can be generated.

"You are now paying Rs 200 to Rs 300 per month for consuming 60 units of power. If we can generate power atop our own house we can consume 60 units and the remaining 140 units can be sent to the grid. If you continue this for five years you can not only own the panels but also earn Rs 5,000 per annum," the Chief Minister said.
