Conceptualized by renowned designer and Indian entrepreneur Jimmy Mistry, founder of the Della Group, the ambitious project aims to establish a long-term cultural institution that documents the depth and authenticity of Hindu civilization. At the heart of the development lies a 300-acre Living Exhibition comprising 25 immersive pavilions, each spread over one lakh square feet.

These pavilions will collectively present India’s civilizational journey from the Indus Valley era to contemporary Hindu thought through experiential storytelling. The exhibition will explore a wide spectrum of themes including Vedic knowledge systems, philosophy, classical arts, temple architecture, ritual practices, and regional traditions. Every state and Union Territory will be invited to participate and co-create their respective pavilions, making the initiative a truly collaborative national effort to celebrate and preserve India’s spiritual and cultural heritage. For instance for vedic civilisation pavillion Haryana has been suggested, for philosophical foundations, Bihar, clasical period and temple architeture Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Odisha hev been suggested.

“At the core of this vision is a comprehensive effort to document and interpret India’s philosophical traditions, rituals, and civilizational continuity. It draws from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Shastra-based wisdom, while also capturing regional traditions, sects, and sub-sects. The aim is to build structured knowledge frameworks that preserve heritage and guide future generations,” said a senior Andhra Pradesh government official.

Della Group had recently signed an MoU with Andhra Pradesh government to develop this integrated township- Della Vasudaiva Kutumbakam International Township.

“This MoU marks the beginning of a historic movement to document and celebrate India’s 5,000-year civilizational journey. The Living Exhibition is a national platform co-created with states, scholars, and communities—an institution envisioned for humanity,” said Della Townships, Design Futurist, Jimmy Mistry.

Lord Venkateswara temple to come up in Assam

Aimed at strengthening the spiritual landscape of the Northeastern region, the Assam Government has decided to allot 25 acres of land in Guwahati for the construction of the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Divya Kshetram, an increase from the earlier allocation of 10.8 acres. The decision follows correspondence between the Chief Ministers of Assam and Andhra Pradesh, reflecting growing inter-state cooperation in promoting religious and cultural projects.

According to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Trust Board Chairmam Sri BR Naidu, the Assam Govt. had earlier accorded consent for the allotment of 10.8 acres of land at Kamrup metropolitan district near Guwahati.

However, on December 7, the Additional Chief Secretary to Assam CM, KK Dwivedi addressed a letter to the TTD chairman BR Naidu, drawing his attention to the concerns of the administrators of an existing Sri Balaji temple and cultural complex at Garchuk in Guwahati, that if the TTD establishes a Sri Venkateswara temple at Kamrup metropolitan district, it would adversely affect the interests of the existing temple.

The Additional Chief Secretary to the Assam CM asked the TTD chairman to consider establishing Sri Venkateswara temple either at Silchar or Dibrugarh-two fastest growing cities in Assam.

When TTD Chairman BR Naidu took up the matter to the notice of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, he addressed a letter to his Assam counterpart Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on December 18, the commitment of Andhra Pradesh government and the TTD in spearheading the propagation of the Hindu Sanatana Dharma and the glory of Sri Venkateswara by establishing at least one temple in every state and union territory of the country.

Pointing out to the Assam Chief minister that the Andhra Pradesh government had allocated 25 acres of land at the new capital city Amaravati to establish Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple, the AP Chief minister urged his Assam counterpart to consider allocating 25 acres of land to the TTD at it’s capital Guwahati itself instead of at Silchar or Dibrugarh.

“Since Guwahati is an important hub for the entire Northeast, I recommend increasing the land under consideration to about 25 acres to establish a Divyakshetram along with various pilgrim amenities and religious activities including Annadanam on a regular basis. I also seek the Assam Government to consider extending financial support for grounding various development activities in the land proposed to be allotted”, the chief minister Naidu stated in his letter addressed to the Assam Chief Minister.

Responding positively to the recommendations of the Andhra Pradesh Chief minister, the Assam Chief minister had accorded in-principle, the approval to allocate 25 acres of land to the TTD at Guwahati itself and has also agreed to extend necessary financial support for undertaking development activities at the proposed site.
