Arnab Goswami resigns as Editor-in Chief of Times Now

Arnab Goswami has resigned as the Editor-in Chief of news channel Times Now. He announced his decision to resign at an editorial conference, say media reports.

He reportedly plans to start his own venture.

A source quoted Arnab Goswami saying "The game has just begun...independent media is going to thrive,' according to The NewsMinute.

There has been no confirmation on his resignation from the news channel so far.

He  was recently given “Y category” security cover after Intelligence Bureau perceived a threat to his life from terrorists.
