New Delhi: The 16th edition of the International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE) 2025, Asia’s largest railway equipment exhibition, will be held from October 15th to 17th at Bharat Mandapam here.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising the event in collaboration with the Indian Railways.

More than 400 exhibitors from over 15 countries showcasing state- of the- art technologies, solutions and services for the rail and metro sector, B Thiagarajan, Chairman of CII Trade Fairs Council, told media persons here.

Narayan Sethuramon, Managing Director of Sanmar Matrix Metals Ltd, stated, “Indian Railways is what Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat are all about; it has helped an entire ecosystem develop itself supported through rapid growth in recent years and today we are future-ready to design, develop, manufacture and supply to the world.”

Puneet Kaura, Managing Director of Samtel Avionics Ltd, highlighted, "The event is a testament that we are a country who are on the move - the commitment towards modernisation of our infrastructure in the Railway segment is creating the excitement.”

Sitaram Sinku, Additional Member of the Railway Board said that

“Indian Railways is modernising its fleet, rolling stock, key stations, signals & telecommunications and nationwide station infrastructure, developing world-class viaducts and Gati Shakti Freight corridors - all this while leading Railway transportation through a transformational and sustainable transition. This is being achieved through large-scale electrification and advanced green technologies."

This year’s exhibition will bring together senior officials from the Ministry of Railways, leading private-sector industrialists, Railway experts and media representatives on a common platform. The conference aims to promote advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and green solutions, encourage participation from MSMEs and showcase India’s production capabilities under the Make in India initiative, he said.
