According to the RBI’s calendar for the fiscal year 2025, a total of 12 bank holidays have been designated for June 2025. All scheduled and non-scheduled banks will observe public holiday on second and fourth Saturdays, as per the RBI holiday list.

Banks shall remain closed on notable festivals such as Id-ul-Ad’ha (Bakrid), Bakri ID (Id-Uz-Zuha),Sant Guru Kabir Jayanti/Saga Dawa, Ratha Yatra/Kang (Rathajatra) and Remna Ni.

The online banking services, such as net banking, mobile banking, and UPI transactions, will continue despite these designated holidays.

The following are the dates of bank holidays this month apart:

1. June 6 (Friday): Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid)--- Banks to remain closed in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.

2. June 7 (Saturday): Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid)-- Banks to remain closed in Agartala, Aizawl, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad (AP & Telangana), Imphal, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Panaji, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla and Srinagar.

4. June 11(Wednesday): Sant Guru Kabir Jayanti/Saga Dawa- Banks to remain closed in Gangtok and Shimla.

5. June 27 (Friday): Ratha Yatra/Kang: Banks will be closed in Bhubaneswar and Imphal.

6. June 30 (Monday): Remna Ni: Banks to remain shut in Aizawl.

7. June 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 22, 28: Banks to remain closed on second and fourth Saturdays of the month, including usual holidays on Sunday.
