According to the EC, 941 people have submitted claims and objections from individuals till 3 pm on August 3. No political parties have submitted any complaints so far.

The rules stipulate that the claims and objections are to be disposed of by the concerned Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) or Assistant ERO after the expiry of seven days.

In the first 24 hours after publishing the draft rolls, no complaints were filed. As per SIR orders, no name can be deleted from the draft list published on 1st August 2025 without passing a speaking order by the ERO or Assistant ERO after conducting an enquiry and after giving a fair and reasonable opportunity.

The EC has also received 4,374 applications from new electors on attaining 18 years of age or above to be included in the electoral rolls.
