Patna: A “hydrogen bomb” will soon unravel the truth of ‘vote chori’ following which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not be able to show his face to the country, top Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said on Monday, as thousands of supporters joined I.N.D.I.A leaders at the culmination of the 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' in Bihar with a 'Gandhi se Ambedkar' march.

With party workers chanting ‘Vote Chor, Ghaddi Chod’ (Vote Thieves, Leave the Chair), Rahul claimed that the vote theft meant stealing of rights, reservations, jobs, education, democracy and future of youth and it does not end with stealing of votes, as it extends to snatching people's ration cards and land for big industrialists Adani and Ambani.

Commending people for their support for the yatra, he also said the forces that were behind the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi were ought to murder the Constitution but whatever it takes, they will not allow that to happen.

His short speech after addresses by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, top RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, CPI(ML)L General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, CPI(M)'s MA Baby, CPI's Annie Raja, Shiv Sena (UBT)'s Sanjay Raut and Trinamool Congress' Yusuf Pathan came following the march that saw supporters chanting slogans against the Election Commission and Modi and Nitish governments.

The ‘rich-in-symbolism’ march, which saw supporters waving party flags of RJD, Congress, CPI(ML)L, CPI(M), CPI and VIP among others, started from the iconic Gandhi Maidan in the Bihar capital as leaders paid floral tributes at the Gandhi statue and headed to Ambedkar Park.

At the Dak Bungalow Chowk, the leaders addressed a large crowd who were tailing their vehicle as well as who had gathered on the streets and later headed to Ambedkar Park to pay tributes to the father of Constitution.

Addressing the gathering, Rahul recalled the allegations he and his party raised on Maharashtra Assembly, which he claimed was stolen from the 'Maha Vikas Agadhi', and allegations on Mahadevapura Assembly seat where a Congress analysis of electoral rolls is alleged to have found one lakh "fake voters".

Referring to the BJP workers showing black flags during the two-week-long 'yatra', he said, “I want to tell the BJP people, have you heard of anything bigger than an atom bomb?...BJP people, be ready, a hydrogen bomb is coming. In Mahadevapura, we showed you the 'atom bomb'. Now the hydrogen bomb is coming and the truth of 'vote chori' is going to unravel. After the hydrogen bomb, Narendra Modi-ji will not be able to show his face to the country.”

Tejashwi alleged that the “double engine government” in Bihar is derailed and its one engine is steeped in crime and another in corruption. “Nitish is the ‘Bhishma Pitamaha’ of corruption,” he said while alleging that two BJP leaders in collusion with the Election Commission want to end democracy in India.

Soren alleged that the BJP-led NDA was snatching people's rights in the name of the Special Intensive Revision and that electoral rolls were being prepared as per the wishes of the ruling coalition. He called upon the I.N.D.I.A partners to remain united to defeat the BJP.
