Bindhu A, one of the two women in their 40s who visited Sabarimala, said that she felt happy that about 51 women in the 10-50 age group visited the hill shrine.
Talking to reporters in the wake of the Supreme Court order to give protection to Bindhu and Kanaka Durga, the former said that she personally knew some women in the 10-50 age group who visited Sabarimala. But they are not willing to reveal their identity fearing protest.
Bindhu also said that the court order to give them protection was a slap on those unleashing violence against women visiting Sabarimala.
