After hectic parleys, the BJP seems finally set to seal the alliance with the Vijayakanth-led Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) in Tamil Nadu for the Lok Sabha elections.
The three-member committee headed by K N Lakshmanan, which the BJP state unit had set up to negotiate with the DMDK, concluded its talks with senior DMDK leaders and its youth wing secretary and Vijayakanth’s brother-in-law L K Sudeesh on Thursday. Both the parties appeared to have been satisfied with the seat sharing arrangement between them.
