The incident occurred on November 11 when Naidu was on his way to Hyderabad, party sources said here today.

“First, Naidu’s flight IC-601 was delayed by at least 40 minutes. Then, when he landed in Hyderabad, he found his baggage missing,” the source said.

An infuriated Naidu called up Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel to complain about the lapses. Following this, AI CMD Arvind Jadhav called up Naidu the next day and expressed regret about the incidents and also assured him of finding his baggage and belongings at the earliest.

Four days since the assurance, the BJP leader’s baggage is yet to be traced and delivered to him, the source said.

Complaints of flight delays, missing baggage and its late delivery have been coming from Indian and foreign travellers flying with Air India ever since the airlines domestic operations were shifted from Terminal 1-A to T-3
