Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath told the people of Telangana that if BJP wins, “Owaisi will have to run away from Hyderabad”.

He also gave a call to the people of Telangana to elect BJP candidates to end the family rule of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.

The BJP’s star campaigner was speaking at a public meeting at Tandur, one of the four he addressed on Sunday, where he slammed the Congress and TDP for dynasty politics.

Quota to hurt ST interests

Later, speaking in Sangareddy, Yogi said 12% reservation for minorities by KCR will hurt the interests of Scheduled Tribes as their quota will have to be cut.

“The TDP and Congress ruled the united Andhra Pradesh for most of its history, but they failed to bring the necessary development,” Adityanath said at Tandur meeting.

He asked the people of the state to compare this with four and a half years of Narendra Modi’s governance. “ ‘Sab ka saath, sab ka vikas’ is his (Modi’s) motto,” he said.

He went on to endorse developmental programmes by the BJP government at the Centre, and compared that with how the TRS government has not even given utilisation certificates for houses that were built with central aide.

He listed how 2 crore people got houses, 12 crore families got LPG connection and 60 crore people were covered under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

Adityanath claimed the Congress and TRS have been banking on minority appeasement, and promised the BJP will protect everyone irrespective of caste and creed.

“What happened to KCR’s promise that he would make a Scheduled Caste person the chief minister of the newborn state. Why did he not give 3 acres to Scheduled Castes? Why was he
unable to give tap water,” Adityanath said.

Saying BJP is the only party that will protect borders and provide internal security, Yogi said Pakistan-based terrorists only understand the language of bullets and (under the BJP) were paid back in the same coin.

“We will also help the farmers by hiking the MSP of their crop,” the chief minister said.

He also addressed meetings at Boduppal and Goshamahal. Raja Singh, a BJP MLA who has been repeatedly booked for hate speech and inciting violence, is the party candidate at Goshamahal.

Yogi will address few more meetings on December 4.
