Delhi court extends judicial custody of 5 accused by 2 weeks in hit-and-drag case
A Delhi court on Monday extended by two weeks the judicial custody of five people accused in the hit-and-run case in which a 20-year-old woman was dragged to death while trapped under a car in the national capital. The court extended the judicial custody of Deepak Khanna, Amit Khanna, Krishan, Mithun and Manoj Mittal till February 6. They were produced before the court on the expiry of their judicial custody granted earlier. (PTI)

The security forces recovered two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in J&K's Rajouri district which were later defused. The IEDs were detected on Sunday. A police statement said on Monday, "On 22-01-2023 at 6 p.m. a joint search operation was launched by police, special operations group (SOG), 225 field Regiment of Army and CRPF 72 battalion at Dassal and its adjoining areas. "During searches two IEDs were recovered. Later on IEDs were defused by Bomb Disposal Squad". Further details were awaited.
