Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, too, paid homage to Kargil war heroes and laid a wreath at the Dras war memorial. Later in the morning, PM Modi performed a Hawan Pujan at the inauguration ceremony of the redeveloped India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) complex in Delhi, which will host the G20 leaders’ meeting in September.
