Heavy rainfall expected in northwest, central, west, and south regions, says IMD

Active monsoon conditions are likely to continue over northwest, central, and west India during the next three days and the Southwest Monsoon is likely to advance into remaining parts of the country during the next two-three days, the India Meteorological Department said on Wednesday.

In a statement, it said that in the coming three days, northwest India can expect light to moderate rainfall, which will be fairly widespread to widespread across Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Haryana.
