Results of the Common Admission Test (CAT), designed for entry to the country’s premier business schools, were announced early on Wednesday.
According to an official of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Khozikode, which coordinated the 2012 edition of the test, the results were posted on the CAT website at 3 am. Around 2.5 lakh aspirants had registered for CAT in 2012, around 9,000 more as against the 2011 figures.
Candidates can log on to the IIM’s portal via the CAT website “www.catiim.in.”
“Candidates will be required to enter their CAT registration number and email address to access the site. They have also been advised to keep a printed copy of their results. CAT 2012 results can be accessed until December 31, 2013,” said the official.
On Tuesday, there was a buzz that the results were leaked, which was later found to be a rumour.
