The Prime Minister also said in a tweet that this lunar mission will be carrying the hopes and dreams of the entire nations. The Prime Minister also lauded the achievement of India's first lunar mission, the Chandrayaan-1, which managed to confirm the presence of water molecules on the lunar surface. He also mentioned that the findings of Chandrayaan-1 were featured in more than 200 scientific publications.

L&T supplies various components for Chandrayaan-3

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Thursday said the company has supplied various components for India's moon mission Chandrayaan-3.

In a regulatory filing, the company said components like "middle segment and nozzle bucket flange" were manufactured at its facility in Powai, while components like ground and flight umbilical plates were from the company's aerospace manufacturing facility at Coimbatore.
