Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) president Bhupesh Baghel has constituted a probe committee for investigation into the incident where security personnel had killed 15 Maoists.

The allegation is that innocent tribals were killed in the incident after branding them as Maoists.

Baghel has constituted an 18-member probe team to investigate the incident by visiting the villages and interacting with the people.

The probe team would be led by AICC national vice president and MLA Manoj Mandavi. The committee has been instructed to conduct an extensive probe into the incident and submit a report.
