“Senior leaders will not be accompanied by media personnel and other party leaders during their visit to Dalit households,” a senior UP Congress leader said here on Thursday.
“There will also be no feasting during such visits”, the leader said adding that the Congress leadership was not happy “at all” with the “publicised” visits of some leaders to Dalit houses on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Union ministers Jitin Prasada, Pradeep Jain Aditya, party MPs including Azharuddin had on October 2 spent a night at Dalit homes.
