Congress MPs will protest on Friday at 10 am outside the Parliament House against Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks on B R Ambedkar.
Shah sparked outrage with his comment, suggesting that repeatedly invoking Ambedkar's name had become a trend, adding that if god's name were chanted as often, one could achieve "seven lives in heaven".
Yesterday, NDA and I.N.D.I.A. MPs clashed over Ambedkar, which resulted in injuries to two BJP MPs and an FIR being filed against Rahul Gandhi. Notably, the Speaker has banned all demonstrations outside the Parliament after the events that transpired yesterday.
