Miscreants hurled crude bombs at BJP MP Arjun Singh’s residence on Wednesday morning in the North 24 Paraganas district of West Bengal. According to police sources, two or three persons sustained minor injuries during the incident but there were no deaths.

“The incident took place around 3 am. The gates of the building were damaged. We have started the investigation and are checking CCTV footage and speaking to locals to identify the miscreants,” a senior district police official said.

Singh, who was in Delhi when the incident occurred, alleged that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) was behind in the incident.

WB Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar also raised questions regarding the state’s law and order situation following the incident.
