New Delhi: FIIT JEE on Saturday decided to hold a forensic audit by a reputed firm covering the past 7-10 years, as the firm faces allegations of financial misconduct.
A statement said the decision was taken by the FIIT JEE Board, which passed a unanimous resolution. The audit will cover all accounts, SOPs and corporate as well as management decisions.
An enquiry committee comprising two retired judges of Supreme Court and High Court, current or former official ICAI, a former IPS officer and a former IAS officer will also be formed to fix or alter the scope of the forensic audit.
The committee will give its report in 90 days.
The committee will work in the larger public interests and ethical value system that is an essential requirement for any entity or person connected with education, the statement said.
