Displaying a heartfelt culture influencing bilateral relations between Indian and Indonesia, a delegation from the Southeast Asian country sung the famous Bollywood song Kuch Kuch Hota Hai at a banquet hosted at the Rashtrapati Bhavan by President Droupadi Murmu.
The delegation, which included senior Indonesian ministers, was hosted in honour of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
The 1998 song is from the eponymous film directed by Karan Johar, produced by his father Yash Johar and stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji in lead roles,
Subianto, who is on his first visit to India, was the Chief Guest for the nation's 76th Republic Day celebrations and parade which took place at the Kartavya Path.
Earlier on Saturday, Indonesia and India signed a wide range of agreements on Saturday covering culture, health, maritime, security and digital sectors.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Subianto and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
After the signing ceremony, Subianto in a press conference said, "We discussed many key sectors of common interest in which we would like to accelerate the level of cooperation."
Prabowo also thanked India for its support of Indonesia through the process of becoming a member of BRICS, saying the bloc of emerging market economies "will be beneficial for global stability and regional cooperation".
Prime Minister Modi said the two countries will work together in defence manufacturing and improving supply chains.
"We also decided to cooperate on issues such as maritime security, cybersecurity, counter terrorism and de-radicalisation," Modi said.
