New Delhi: An 18-year-old youth was stabbed to death in the Shiv Vihar area of northeast Delhi, police said on Tuesday.
While the motive behind the attack, which took place on Monday night, remains unclear, police suspect it was the result of personal enmity or an altercation.
A PCR call regarding the incident was received at Karawal Nagar police station around 11 pm on Monday, a police officer said.
A police team rushed to the spot in Shiv Vihar and found the youth with stab wounds there. He was immediately taken to GTB Hospital by a PCR unit, where doctors declared him dead, the officer said.
Crime and forensics teams visited the spot. Efforts are being made to identify and apprehend the accused. CCTV footage from the area is also being scanned, police said.
