The owner of Hotel Arpit Palace in central Delhi's Karol Bagh was arrested from the airport here when he landed from Qatar, in connection with the massive fire which killed 17 people, police said on Sunday.

Rakesh Goel, who was flying from Qatar in an IndiGo flight, was apprehended on Saturday after the Delhi Police's Crime Branch received a tip-off about his arrival.

The immigration officials, who were alerted after a lookout circular (LOC) was issued against him, detained Goel and handed him over to the Crime Branch.
