"We submitted the report to the Ministry of Home Affairs Monday and since the ministry is looking into the matter I can't comment further," Dadwal told reporters here.
The three terrorists -- Abdul Razzak, 61, Rafaket Ali, 55, and Mohammad Saddique, 55 -- managed to hoodwink a sub-inspector of the Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) escorting them Friday and escaped.

The three were taken to the Guru Nanak Eye Centre of G.B. Pant Hospital for an eye check-up. They reportedly went for lunch in the cycle market at Jama Masjid area in old Delhi, at around 2.30 p.m., where they gave their escort the slip.

While Delhi police maintained they were not informed about the visit, they announced a reward of Rs.50,000 for clues leading to the arrest of the three terrorists and put out their photographs for public display.

However, sources in Delhi Police claimed that the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) was responsible for the incident.
