Raising the issue during a debate on the Finance Bill, RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh also questioned the delay in implementation of the recommendations submitted to the government on December 31.
"Why no action has been taken (on the recommendations) so far? Why has the decision being put on the backburner," he asked. Singh stressed on immediate implementation of the Wage Board recommendations as a measure for further strengthening the democratic process in the country.
Mediapersons from across the country have decided to organise a rally in front of the Labour Ministry here on March 24 to protest the "delay" in implementation of wageboard's recommendations for newspapers and news agencies' employees.
