The retired executive officer of the temple administration , V S Rajagopal, was arrested in Kottayam following an inquiry conducted by the crime branch, police said. The controversy was the result of a conspiracy involving three people. He was produced before the judicial magistrate at Ranni and remanded in judicial custody.
