Food imports from Japan to be tested

Officers from the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India will screen the food items originating from Japan after March 11 for radiation at ports and airports. The Department of Revenue too has been requested to advise all customs points where imported food is cleared, to test samples for radioactivity, sources said.
