Forming a non-Congress, non-BJP front is his mission, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said on Monday after meeting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the State Secretariat.

He also said that the dialogue will continue and “things” will happen very shortly.

"That is ( non-Congress, non-BJP front) what the mission of KCR. I will continue with my effort,” Rao told journalists after the meeting with Banerjee by his side.

He made the comments after being asked whether he was trying to cobble up a non-Congress, non-BJP front. However, the Bengal Chief Minister did not make any comments.

Rao also said that there is a “unification of forces” across the country and the outcome of his meetings with Banerjee will soon come out.

"We had a discussion today and continue holding such discussions. In future, the result of these discussions will come out. We had a very pleasant discussion. There is a unification of forces across the nation,” said Rao.
