A huge hit with party activists at the tented township of Burari are family photographs of Congress president Sonia Gandhi posing with son Rahul and daughter Priyanka.
"About 300 copies were sold yesterday (Saturday) afternoon and we have placed an order for 200 more as only 10 copies are remaining now...Many are asking for it," All India Congress Committee (AICC) member Ramesh Singhal said.
Around 200 individual photos of Rahul Gandhi were sold Saturday alone and the stalls, doing brisk business, have ordered for 200 more, Singhal added.While a postcard-sized photo costs Rs.30, blow-ups cost Rs.60 each.
Leesha Bansal, a Seva Dal member in-charge of sales, said: "Pictures of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were a huge hit among young party cadres, particularly women."
Individual photos of Sonia Gandhi are also available, 90 of which were sold Saturday.
Apart from Gandhi family photos, those of Mahatama Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi were also on sale.
