A girl was allegedly set ablaze by a man for not reciprocating his love proposal. The incident was reported in the Dumka district of Jharkhand. The girl succumbed to her burn injuries on August 28.
However, the accused Shahrukh has been arrested on August 23. Meanwhile, people were seen protesting in the streets of Dumka.
