The Ministry of Women and Child Development has planned women media centres to train women to take up jobs in journalism

These centres will also train women to use social media to their advantage. “Gender parity in mass media- print and electronic media, advertising world, film sector and new media- will be promoted by increasing the presence of women in the decision making positions,” said the ministry.
