The official Twitter handle of Gujarat Police has been hacked.

The miscreants changed the name of the handle after Elon Musk and changed the profile photo to that of a spacecraft.

Soon, the state Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi tweeted: "This is to make everyone aware that the official handle (Twitter) of Gujarat Police has been hacked. Requesting not to respond to the messages or any information shared by them till the further notice. Thank You."

The account was restored later.
