RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav's wife and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi today sought votes for Congress leader and six-time MLA Capt Ajay Singh Yadav who is contesting the ensuing Haryana assembly polls.

Addressing an election rally at Dharuhera near here, she specifically appealed to migrant Bihari workers, settled in the industrial town, to vote for Capt Yadav.

Rabri's daughter Anushka Rao had been married to Capt Yadav’s son Chiranjeev Rao.
Rabri conveyed the message of her husband, who could not visit Dharuhera owing to indisposition, to the masses, saying he wanted them to ensure his close relative Capt Yadav’s win at the hustings.

Rabri’s son Tejeswi Yadav and Rajya Sabha MP Kumari Selja also addressed the poll rally.
The former Bihar Chief Minister told the gathering that they have seen Capt Yadav's work as an MLA and minister in the past.

"Vote for Capt Yadav to esnure that he makes his entry to the assembly for the 7th consecutive term," Rabri said.
