ICMR DG Dr Balram Bhargava on May 20 laid out the procedure which a person needs to follow for Covid-19 test at home. “For home testing for Covid-19, one company has already made the application, and 3 are in the pipeline. Within the next week, we should have another 3 companies. The first step is to buy the test kit from a chemist. You can then download the mobile app. You then conduct the test at home. The next step is to click a mobile image and upload it to the app. Test results will be given. Within 3-4 days, this should be available in the market,” said ICMR DG.
